Prior to founding ShoreView, from 1995 to 2002, Mr. Davis co-managed (along with Mr. Wakefield) two sequential private equity funds for another investment firm.

Previously, Mr. Davis practiced law for twenty-two years in New York, London, and Minneapolis, specializing in transaction law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Davis was a founding partner of the law firm Fabyanske, Svoboda, Westra and Davis and served as a president of the firm.

Mr. Davis received a BA in Mechanical Engineering and an MME degree from Rice University and a JD degree and an MBA degree from Stanford University.
