Background/Purpose: Hallmark
Lighting’s sole shareholder founded the
Company in 1978 and built it through thirty years
of organic growth. He decided to partner
with ShoreView to monetize the value he created
as well as seek additional growth opportunities
and plan for eventual leadership transition. The
transaction also allows the Company to form a
collaborative relationship with ShoreView’s
other investment in the lighting industry, American
De Rosa Lamparts.
ShoreView structured a transaction that allowed
the owner achieve these objectives while retaining
an ownership stake in the Company.
