The Principals of ShoreView Industries are pleased to announce that Axygen, Inc., a ShoreView portfolio company, has acquired the assets of V-Gene Biotechnology Limited.  V-Gene is a developer and manufacturer of DNA/RNA purification kits and other laboratory consumables based outside of Shanghai, China.
 
The acquisition expands Axygen's product line, design capability, and provides the Company with an overseas manufacturing platform.   It represents Axygen's third acquisition in 2004.
 
ShoreView assisted Axygen in the acquistion of the Company.
